The local area has a rich history and a great deal of natural beauty, from the coastlines to the ravine at Dane’s Dyke.
The area also offers a great many options for grabbing a bite to eat while you’re exploring, and we’ve gathered together our favourite pubs, cafés, and restaurants to give you some inspiration while you’re with us! Whichever type of cuisine you fancy, you’re sure to find it in Bridlington.
The Lamp Restaurant
The Lamp Restaurant is the perfect place to eat whether you want a cosy meal for two or a party of many. Dishes are made with seasonal and locally produced ingredients, and the experienced chefs will cater to any dietary requirements you may have. The beautiful grade II listed building also has a courtyard, perfect for enjoying during warmer weather.
The Wish Cat Cafe
This quaint and charming cafe is set a little way back from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area, down a side street, and is the perfect place to drop in for lunch or a coffee and some cake. The café is dog-friendly, and also has many options for those with gluten free or vegan requirements. The attention to detail in everything from the cupcake decoration to the café itself cannot be faulted!
Enjoy authentic and delicious Thai cuisine at Supattra Thai, which is cooked in a traditional way and is MSG free. Their signature dishes focus on both traditional Thai dishes, and the locally available seafood such as Bridlington’s famous crab.
The Lobster Pot pub is the place to head if you’re looking for an extensive menu. Their main menu is packed with delicious options, including several rotisserie chicken options, and they also have a special menu of gluten-free options, and a £6 weekday menu you can enjoy a hearty meal without breaking the bank too!
Masala is the place to head to if you’d like some great Indian food, with their unique and high-quality dishes fetching rave reviews. While there is an extensive menu of dishes available, the chefs are also happy to accommodate for those who do not spot their favourite dish on the menu, so you’re sure to enjoy your meal here.
Aloha is Bridlington’s Hawaiian Tex-Mex restaurant and serves up seafood, Hawaiian dishes, Mexican, BBQ and great drinks, all with a fantastic view of the sea. The food is delicious, and the Hawaiian themed decor really adds to the atmosphere.
Serving up classic pub fare at great prices, the Martonian Inn is a great dog-friendly pub to visit if you’re in the area and after a hearty meal. With generous portion sizes and many regular offers on, the food here is really great value.

For award-winning fish and chips, look no further than 149 Fish and Chips. Fresh fish in deliciously crispy batter and generous portions of chips make this chippy a favourite with many locals and visitors to the area alike, many of whom return time and time again. They even offer a gluten free option!
