Welcome Back to Fell End!
We are looking forward to your return for the 2019 season.
Events
On Sunday 10th of February we are offering an Owners Sunday Lunch at the special price of £7.50 per head, to include a free glass of Prosecco or a Pint of Beer.
As it is Valentine’s the weekend after, on Saturday the 16th we are having a Curry Night priced at £7.50 per head, with a glass of Prosecco or Pint of Beer. And to create a romantic atmosphere, we have the pleasure of having our Pianist Edward play some love songs on the Lounge piano, for your enjoyment.
Nature Reserve
The Nature Reserve is proving to be a very special place, with lots of local wildlife making it their home. We now have two hides for you to view the most beautiful deer and birds.
This season we will be hosting events with local and national experts, providing guided walks and talks, discussing everything from butterflies, birds, bats and all the wonderful flora and fauna at the Reserve. More information will be available on the website.

Things to Do
We are busy planning things for the new season ahead. We have introduced a Quiz Night which will be held once a month in the Leisure Complex, hosted by Mike our resident Quiz Master.
Starting on Saturday February 23rd we have Family Craft sessions from 2 pm to 4 pm. The sessions are suitable for all the family to enjoy and are perfect for entertaining the children with some creative fun. The craft themes are based around nature and wildlife, with the close proximity of the Nature Reserve providing plenty of inspiration.
The incredibly popular family rambles will start again this season on Saturday 23rd March 2019. These walks are a great way of exploring areas of outstanding natural beauty which will enchant many ramblers.
We are currently preparing the new menu, and this year this year we will be including an ‘all day’ breakfast, many family favourites, weekend specials and not forgetting our fantastic value Sunday lunch.
Awards
Once again we have been awarded 5 stars by the David Bellamy Conservation Awards; in addition we are now a recognised Honey Bee Friendly park. We have also been awarded 5 stars by Visit England, an award which we have successfully attained for many years. Find out more about the David Bellamy Award here.
Photography Competition
Calling all those who are interested in wildlife photography! We are holding a competition for the Fell End Nature Reserve 2020 Calendar. Twelve winning entries will be selected for each month and the winners will have their artwork printed within the calendar for all to admire! If you are interested in entering, please go to the Fell End Nature Reserve Facebook page and add a comment, plus ‘like ‘the competition post; but most importantly add your photograph. The closing date for the entries will be 31st August 2019 and we encourage you to post entries which encompass the seasonal changes of wildlife.
We shall look forward to viewing your splendid wildlife photographs and hopefully you may be one of the twelve winners. Which month will your winning entry be allocated? Good luck!
