Front of House – Loch Ness Highland Resorts
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager / Bar Supervisor, you are required to assist with the day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant and provide a professional service to customers in the restaurant and bar maintaining high levels of cleanliness, presentation and customer care.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Responsible for looking after our customers within the restaurant, for example taking orders, running food, clearing tables and ensuring every single customer looked after
• Keeping the bar area and restaurant clean, tidy and well stocked
• To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and an excellent public image is maintained
• Liaising with other team members to ensure tasks are completed effectively
• Answering the telephone in a professional manner and dealing with any requests such as restaurant bookings in a friendly and helpful way
• Responsible for making of quality beverages, generally specialty hot drinks.
• Responsible for the cleaning and stocking of the coffee machines
• To provide product and Company information to customers to a high standard of competence
• Assisting the manager replenishing stock ensuring comply with stock rotation requirements
• Ensuring that all faults and defects, equipment, tools, buildings, etc., within the remit of the bar and restaurant are reported to your line manager
• To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required
• Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices

• Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and accurately
Education / Experience
• The right to work in the UK
• Previous experience preferable but not essential
• Hold Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate, or willing to work towards
• Have current Food Allergen certificate or willing to achieve the required certificate
