Bird Watching & Nature Walks

A Stunning Haven for Nature Lovers

Our nature trail starts at the fishing lake and takes walkers around and in amongst the course. It takes around 1 and half hours to complete the trail with plenty of safe places to stop during the walk. Take a rest on one of our benches around the trail and take in the views of the course and park – Tydd truly is a stunning haven for nature lovers!

Look out for some of the recent wildlife spotted on park – Graylag goose, Great Crested Grebe, Marsh Harrier, Black Headed Gull, Robin, Green Woodpeckers, Moorhens & chicks, Pheasant, Chaffinch, Coot, Partridge (Red Legged), Barn Owl, Grey Heron, Willow Warbler, Shell Duck & Hare.

The Stables Bar and Restaurant

The Stables Bar and Restaurant is open Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm, with the last booking at 8:30pm.

Our Sunday Carveries in The Stables Bar & Grill are a real treat for the whole family!

Come and enjoy a delicious carvery with locally sourced meats and fresh seasonal vegetables. Served every Sunday from 12 until 4pm, for just £8.95 adults, £5.95 for under 12’s and kids under 3 eat free!

The Spikes Bar

The Spikes Bar is enjoyed by all of our golfers and is often referred to as our ‘19th Hole’. It has a cosy atmosphere and can be enjoyed by all of the golfing enthusiasts that play on our course.

Serving wholesome pub food including bacon butties, all-day breakfasts and bar meals. Enjoy a pint and a bar meal after your exertions of the day.

Food is served from 10am Tuesday – Friday and 7am Saturday and Sunday.

Café Revive

Sit and unwind after your round of golf or gym session in Café Revive which is situated in our new complex – you can sit and relax with your coffee whilst watching the others workout!

Open daily from 6.30am, food available between 10am and 4pm. Tasty light-bites including sandwiches, paninis, homemade soup and various salads.

A mixture of delicious cakes are available plus tea cakes and scones. Coffees, hot chocolate , cold drinks and healthy smoothies.

Café Revive now offers Traditional Afternoon Tea, served daily from 12-3pm. Booking is essential, please call us on 01945 871007.

Equestrian Facilities

Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club have recently teamed up with local equestrian Centre Eaudyke Stables, which is situated at the back of the golf course and can be accessed via a direct path across the estate. Meandering rivers, golf course, farm tracks, beautiful open countryside, friendly riding horses – if you love any of these then you’ll love a day at Eaudyke stables. Whether you are a novice horse rider or otherwise, there is something here for everyone.

Eaudyke Stables offers all levels of horse riding lessons providing the very best training and facilities including riding lessons, hacking and holiday livery.

Lessons are competitively priced and professionally ran. All ages and abilities are catered for from age 4 upwards, from lead rein to the more experienced rider.

Hacking is available to riders who are competent, an initial assessment lesson will be required in the school to assess the ability of each rider before you will be allowed to book a hack to ensure the safety of all riders is met.

Horse Holidays

Eaudyke stables can also offer your horse a holiday to remember! Bring your horse away with you to Tydd St Giles and let them enjoy and explore the beautiful countryside too! The livery yard is set in a peaceful rural location where your horse will be looked after in comfortable, secure stables whilst you enjoy a relaxing break on our estate.

Private lessons in our outdoor rubber school can be included at an additional fee. Feed must be supplied by the owner and all horses/ponies must be wormed with relevant injections up to date. Vet/farrier assistance can be supplied if required.

Fishing at Tydd St Giles

Fishing is on our purpose built, well-stocked ‘Manor Lake’ and there is every chance your patience will be rewarded with an excellent catch. You’ll find each ten metre fishing area, with its own timber deck and safety netting, clearly marked by a numbered peg and the lake is open to fishing from dawn until dusk.

Hot drinks and snacks are available throughout the day, but by all means bring your own flask and picnic along if you wish. Toilet facilities are provided and when the day is over, freshen up in our changing rooms and compare notes on your catches in the comfort of Spikes Bar or Café Revive.

Homeowners and their guests can enjoy year-round use of the lake free of charge. We even offer tailor-made angling holidays so keen fishermen can combine their passion with a stay in a luxury lodge.
