Pure Leisure Opens Breathtaking Nature Reserve at Fell End Holiday Park

Award-winning holiday group Pure Leisure has recently announced its brand new breathtaking nature reserve at Fell End Holiday Park. The Fell End Nature Reserve opening event took place on Saturday 24th March. It is among the park’s most popular five-star locations in all the rural South Lake District. Situated just a short walk across the road from Fell End and Hall More Holiday Parks, the scenic nature reserve is now open to the public. Guests can enjoy outstanding views of natural beauty as part of their stay.

During last month’s opening event, a small audience gathered as Pure Leisure kindly presented John Wilson with their brand new bird-watching hide. The wildlife hide was proudly named after John for his ongoing conservation work within Lancashire and Cumbria, particularly at Pure Leisure Group. Visitors of Fell End Holiday Park now have freedom to enjoy the vast woodland nature and wildlife that surrounds the local area. Among the protected wildlife at the nature reserve are owls, marsh harrier birds and deer, all of which have been spotted from the John Wilson Hide.

The John Wilson Hide

The John Wilson Hide serves as a tranquil lookout point for guests. It includes the following heartfelt message: “Please make time in your busy lives to look at wildlife, in my experience you will find it enthralling and inspiring, and breathtakingly beautiful.”
