Welcome to the Summer Edition of the Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club Newsletter

We are looking forward to a wonderful summer season at Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club and hope that the weather will provide many lovely days for pure relaxation and some splendid games of golf. We have been very busy organising events and activities which you hope you will enjoy.

The Stables Bar & Restaurant

Open from Tuesday to Sunday.  Come along and taste our delicious home cooked evening meals and check out the specials board for the chef’s recommendations. For those who enjoy the Carvery experience, our famous Carvery is served every Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:30 pm and Sunday from 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Enjoy two Carvery meals for just £11.95 every Wednesday!

Bank Holiday Hog Roast & Entertainment – Sunday 25th August

Come along and enjoy the August Bank Holiday Hog Roast and Entertainment event on Sunday 25th August from 12 pm to 4 pm. We have organised a family, fun-filled day with lots to entertain all ages! Listen to live music from 1 pm to 3 pm, whilst enjoying a hog roast. Or you can explore the food and craft stalls and watch the wonderful wildlife centre display which promises to be very exciting with a collection of interesting creatures.

Pamper Night

Our Pamper Night’s at the Leisure Suite have proven to be a success, so we have decided to host another on Friday 20th September 2019 at 5 pm. You can enjoy a special 30 minute beauty treatment of your choice, with the full use of the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. A welcome drink and a light buffet are served to complete an evening of pure pampering!

Pamper Night Vouchers are a perfect gift for a birthday present or to celebrate a special event. Tickets can be purchased from the reception and are priced at £15 for member and £20 for non-members.

Golf

The golfing season is well under way and the golf course is in its best shape ever! We have a great Summer Society Special Package priced at just £20 which includes 18 holes of golf, plus a Sausage and Fried Onion Baguette with Chips which may be enjoyed either before or after a game of golf! Swimming Lessons now available!

We now offer swimming lessons for all ages and abilities.  30 minute lessons are priced at £16 for members and £20 for non-members.  If you are interested in taking lessons please call Tracy 07788 286110 for more information.

New Development – The Prestige Glass House

We are pleased to announce, The Prestige Glass House will be available as from July on the new St Andrews development.  The Glass House is a contemporary luxury lodge which incorporates a vaulted ceiling, sky lights and exterior French doors; perfect for enjoying the lakeside views and natural light.  The interior design is both sumptuous and timeless, with colour co-ordinated soft greys and cream fabrics and décor, and a combination of laminate and carpeted flooring; creating a perfectly relaxing holiday retreat.

The kitchen is both sleek and spacious and has the benefit of an island unit, integrated electrical items and includes a wine cooler, which is perfect for enjoying your chilled glass of wine after a day of exploring the local attractions! The Glass House is ideal for entertaining and comes with a dining suite which has the luxury of having four chairs and a bench seat, for those larger dinner parties.  The bedrooms are fully-furnished and are warm and inviting – you will not want to go home!
