Here at Cockerham Sands we are a static caravan site that allows bring ons and are offering you the chance to bring on your static caravan or existing holiday home from its current holiday park to ours.

Cockerham Sands Holiday Park is situated on a coastal Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI), surrounded by 3 National Parks – Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Trough of Bowland, and offers a host of outdoor family fun days out.

Cockerham Sands is a static caravan site that allows bring ons and refers to a service where you can move your existing static caravan to a new holiday park. We also have static caravans for sale in Lancashire.

How to Arrange a “Bring On”

1. Contact Cockerham Sands Holiday Park
Please complete the enquiry form and we will confirm the available bases where you can bring on your static caravan

2. Check Park Requirements:
We do have specific criteria for caravans,  such as the caravan’s age, condition and of course size!

3. Arrange Logistics:
You can arrange the transportation of your caravan, or we can. There re a number of transport companies that will deliver to Cockerham Sands, and often the park you are moving from will offer the service as part of the removal costs.

4. Understand Fees:
There is a siting, connection and services test fee for bring on caravans to Cockerham.
Holiday homes brought to Cockerham Sands will be granted a new site licence.

The pitch fees which are due each year include your water, waste water, holiday home refuse, and grounds maintenance. You will need to pay for your gas (mains) and electric usage, plus holiday home insurance.

5. Inspect the New Site:
Of course, moving your holiday home is a big commitment, so we would highly recommend that you come and visit Cockerham Sands and spend some time walking the park, and reviewing the available pitches we have available. Our sales or office team will be more than happy to show you around.

Bring on static caravan

This refers to the process of relocating your existing holiday caravan from one park to another, allowing you to keep your familiar home while changing location, scenery, or park facilities, a service offered by Cockerham Sands Caravan Park, part of the Pure Leisure Group that accept owner-transferred caravans, often called “bring-on” schemes. We sometimes need to approve the transfer if your caravan’s age/size, or if we need special transport.

How to Arrange a “Bring On”

Find a “Bring-On” Park: Research parks that explicitly welcome owner-relocated caravans, like Cockerham Sands, part of Pure Leisure and check availability.
Get Park Approval: Cockerham Sands will confirm your caravan meets their criteria (mainly size) and you choose a pitch.
Get Quotes: We will arrange specialist caravan transport for you depending on distance.
Notify Old Park: Give formal notice and check for exit fees or disconnection processes.
Arrange Logistics: Plan for utility disconnection (gas, water, electric). We will include reconnection at Cockerham Sands.
Transport: The caravan is moved via low-loader, and positioned on the new pitch. We will site, connect and test for you.

Costs: All movement, siting and site fees are included in the Bring On cost, no hidden fees or surprises.
Park Rules: Larger caravans might be physically too large to transport (ie twin lodges). If you bring on your static caravan to Cockerham Sands we will issue you a 10 year site licence for peace of mind.
