Role Overview
As a Grounds Person you are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our holiday park to offer an amazing experience to all our owners and guests in a manner which maximises the benefits of the facilities to holiday home owners and holiday guests.

Duties

• Delivering a ‘breath of fresh air’ experience for our guests through the upkeep of beautiful grounds and gardens, contributing to guest advocacy and customer satisfaction
• You will be required to carrying out routine checks and maintenance of supplied equipment
• Undertake lawn maintenance throughout the park, including, but not limited to mowing, watering, fertilising, and spraying as required
• Provide a safe and secure and environment for all guests through the maintenance of the park
• Follow all legislative guidelines for the preparation, use and disposal of chemicals, the safe use of tools, plant equipment
• Ensuring all work areas are presented and managed to the highest level at all times
• Ensuring all faults and defects, equipment, tools, buildings, etc., within the remit of grounds maintenance are reported
• To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required
• Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
• Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times
• Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge of using a wide range of machinery and hand tools
• Previous grounds experience is preferred.
• Experience of driving ride on mowers and tractors
• A current full UK driving licence
• The right to work in the UK
• A positive attitude with a willing to learn and improve
