HGV Driver – Head Office
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting our caravans and lodges safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills.
Duties
- Operate a HGV in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and load to ensure it is in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with the Transport Co-ordinator regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Assist with park maintenance tasks, as and when required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
Skills
- Class 1 HGV license is a requirement
- Experience with transporting Wide Loads
- Proven experience as a Van/HGV Driver with a valid commercial driving licence.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Strong organisational skills to manage time efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
