Kitchen Assistant – Lakeland Larder (South Lakeland Leisure Village)

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to work in our Lakeland Larder based at South Lakeland Leisure Village.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be delivering simple but high-quality food, ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality.

Preparing food including; Breakfast rolls, Burgers, Pizza’s, Hot Dog’s
Ensuring that all food is served at a safe and appropriate temperature using probes where necessary
Maintaining excellent standards
Preparation and cooking
Cleaning down the surfaces and appliances before closure
Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene
To aid stocktaking in conjunction with the Head Chef
To provide excellent customer service when taking orders, payments and serving food
To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager

Have a passion for food, hospitality and be a team player
Good communication skills
Be willing to learn
Comfortable with lone working
The Right to Work in the UK
A driving license & access to a vehicle (OR) alternative, reliable method of transport (please note that public transport does not take you directly to the park
Food Hygiene Certificate or willing to work towards
