Warden Couple – Loch Ness Highland Resort (Accommodation Available)

We are looking for a couple to join our team up at Lochness Highland Resort, to complete both Housekeeping Co-ordination tasks and Warden/General Maintenance duties.

Key duties will include:

Housekeeping Co-Ordinator 

  • Day to day management of and supervising of cleaners, to check that holiday lets are cleaned, ensuring checklists are completed
  • Day to day management of third party cleaners
  • Cleaning as and when required
  • Ensuring all standards are maintained to the highest level
  • Ensure customers and guests receive an efficient, friendly and consistently high standard of service. This includes reporting any defects.
  • To ensure that each Holiday Home accommodation has been inspected, prior to guest arrival, according to Pure Leisure Group standard
  • Drawing up a shift rota for team members
  • To ensure that each Holiday Home accommodation has been inspected, prior to guest arrival, according to Pure Leisure Group standard using checklist
  • Create a guest focused culture within housekeeping
  • To ensure adequate bed linen and inventory packs are maintained at all times, and adhering to the Company Purchasing Policy for replacement stock
  • Checking for faults or damage and arranging repairs and routine maintenance work and note on checklist
  • Checking any faults, damage and repairs noted on checklists have been rectified prior to the arrival of guests
  • Making sure staff work to health and safety rules
  • Helping cleaners clean lodges during busy times
  • Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role

Warden/Maintenance:

  • To undertake gas deliveries, as required, in line with Company policy
  • To assist with the maintenance of the buildings, holiday homes, grounds, fences, public areas and development sites as directed by the Operations Manager
  • DIY duties, including making repair and attending to burst pipes.,
  • To note and report any work requiring attention line manager as soon as possible (e.g. burst pipes, dangerous steps, paths and services, etc.)
  • Ensure all chargeable work undertaken is reported for invoicing in line with Company procedure and followed through approval from purchasing manager
  • Assist with minor repairs and other maintenance activities in line with your skills and professional competence such as drain downs and siting’s along with basic grass cutting
  • To assist in the implementation of legal and/or site rules in a diplomatic way and reporting failure to comply (e.g. speeding vehicles, dogs not on leads etc.) and any other reasonable requests from General Manager
  • To serve the public in the most courteous and efficient manner including effective handling of enquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are reported in accordance with company instructions
  • Complete on-call, out of hours work
  • Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment would be a distinct advantage
  • DIY experience is a requirement for the Warden position
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Good time management
  • Great customer service skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer literate
  • Approachable and friendly
  • Can work under pressure

Qualifications:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • Experience of planning & organising projects
  • You will have extensive senior management experience, leading large teams with diverse responsibilities and experiences
  • You will demonstrate high standards in customer experience and can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple revenue streams
  • Holiday park experience desirable but not essential
