Job Purpose

Role Description:
As Warden /Grounds person you are responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of our holiday park ground. The main goal of the role is to deliver an amazing park experience for all our owners and guests. As Warden you will be responsible for maintaining a presence on the park and responding out of hours to guest queries

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

The Grounds-person’s duties:

  • Ensure the park grounds are kept to the highest quality and standard for our guests
  • Delivering a ‘breath of fresh air’ experience for our guests through the upkeep of beautiful grounds and gardens, contributing to guest advocacy and customer satisfaction
  • To assist the grounds maintenance team with general duties as and when required
  • Undertake lawn maintenance throughout the park, including, but not limited to mowing, watering, fertilising, and spraying as required
  • Ensuring all work areas are presented and managed to the highest level at all times.

 

The Warden’s duties:

  • Maintaining a presence on the park
  • Responding out of hours to guest queries to ensure the effective & efficient operation of the business
  • Working under guidance and instruction from the park manager to ensure the effective & efficient operation of the business
  • A willingness to attend to any tasks and be prepared to work flexible hours
  • To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required
  • Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
  • Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times
  • Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role

Skills required:

• Great customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of using a wide range of machinery and hand tools
• Maintenance is essential.
• Numeracy and literacy skills sufficient to record and report basic statistical information.
• A current full UK driving licence with category C is desirable.

Education / Experience:

• The right to work in the UK
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
