OBJECTIVES:

  • To assist in the effective running of centralised Purchasing Department to support Group Purchasing Manager in all aspects of service delivery internally and externally.
  • To assist Directors, multiple Site Managers and Park staff to order goods and services, and advise on needs and requests. To assist with all aspects of supplier management, communication, research and monitoring of suppliers.
  • To assist with invoice processing in line with the Company’s Purchasing Policy and Finance processes, to meet set schedules set by Finance Department.
  • To assist with placing orders by telephone, email, online and at times in person to meet operational needs/deadlines.
  • To provide support to Group Purchasing Manager in all aspects of the Purchasing Department.
  • Assist colleagues across the group in Purchasing related matters.

Front of House Team Members - Waters Edge Restaurant - South Lakeland Leisure Village

We are looking for flexible Bar & Front of House staff members to join the team at our Waters Edge Restaurant.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you are required to provide a professional service to customers in the restaurant, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, presentation and customer care.

Job Role:
• Assisting the Restaurant Manager with the running of the bar and restaurant.
• Waiting on tables as and when required.
• Working behind the bar and serving customer drinks, snacks and hot and cold food.
• Keeping the bar area and restaurant clean and tidy and well stocked.
• Washing glasses and clearing of tables regularly.
• Answer telephone in a professional manner and deal with any requests such as restaurant bookings in a friendly and helpful way.
• Any other duties which may, from time to time, be determined by the company management

Housekeeper - Billing Aquadrome

We are currently looking for seasonal cleaners to join our Housekeeping Team to provide a professional cleaning service for the park complex.

Team members will assist with any other cleaning duties on the park as required.

The successful candidates must have good customer service skills, be conscientious and be able to communicate effectively with park management and staff.

There are no guaranteed hours for this position but there is flexibility in the days and hours worked, you are required to work on a rota which will involve weekend, evenings and bank holiday working.

Lifeguard - Billing Aquadrome

We are looking for Lifeguards to join our team working in our amazing Complex at Billing Aquadrome, which includes a bar, restaurant, pool and children’s indoor play area. Our Lifeguards report to the Lifeguard Supervisor and are on hand to maintain poolside safety at all times and to ensure our owners, guests and visitors are having an enjoyable time using our facilities.

The successful candidate must have full NPLQ qualification, accredited by RLSS UK, certificates will be required.

Duties will include:

• supervising the pool area,
• maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area and changing rooms
• regular pool tests must be done, full training will given in this area

This is a seasonal position.

Cleaners - Billing Aquadrome

Main Duties:
The housekeeping team are required to provide an effective and professional cleaning service, ensuring we maintain our high standard of cleanliness across the park.
The working hours for this role are on a rota basis, to be discussed. Must be able to work weekends and public holidays and be flexible to the business needs.
Duties include:
• To serve the public in the most courteous and efficient manner including effective handling of enquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are reported in accordance with company instructions.
• To comply with company policies

Specific Tasks
• Cleaning of all offices, public washrooms, Complex, hire fleet, sales vans, and all public spaces as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensuring all standards are maintained to the highest level.
• Introducing new ideas to improve the presentation of all areas on Park.
• Ensure customers and guests receive an efficient, friendly and consistently high standard of service. This includes reporting any defects.
• Ensure all Health and Safety, Hygiene and COSHH Regulations comply with regulations.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and working efficiently.
• Contribute positive ideas to improve the effectiveness of the cleaning team.
• Any other duties which may, from time to time, be determined by the Company management.

Knowledge & Experience:
• Experience within a similar role
• Good communication skills at all levels
• Takes ownerships for problems and provides appropriate recommendations.

General Maintenance Operative - Billing Aquadrome

Main Duties:

The Maintenance Team undertake the day to day maintenance of the park in accordance with Company policies, and in a manner which maximises the benefits of the facilities to holiday home owners and holiday guests.

The working hours for this role are 5 days out of 7 working 40 hours per week, must be able to work weekends and public holidays, and be flexible to the business needs:

Duties include:

• To serve the public in the most courteous and efficient manner including effective handling of enquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are reported in accordance with company instructions.
• To comply with company policies
Specific Tasks:

• To undertake gas deliveries, as required, in line with Company policy.
• To assist with the maintenance of the buildings, holiday homes, grounds, fences, public areas and development sites as directed by the Operations Manager.
• To note and report any work requiring attention to the Site Supervisors as soon as possible (e.g. burst pipes, dangerous steps, paths and services, etc).
• Ensure all chargeable work undertaken is reported for invoicing in line with Company procedure and followed through approval from purchasing manager.
• Assist with minor repairs and other maintenance activities in line with your skills and professional competence such as drain downs and siting’s along with basic grass cutting.
• To check that caravans which are unoccupied for signs of damage or theft and notify your Line Manager immediately.
• To assist in the implementation of legal and/or site rules in a diplomatic way and reporting failure to comply (e.g. speeding vehicles, dogs not on leads etc) and any other reasonable requests from Park Managers.

Skills and expertise:

• Previous experience within the leisure and tourism industry is desirable.
• Experience of general maintenance work and grass cutting.
• Experience with the use of grounds maintenance equipment and/or power tools.
• Experience of driving ride on mowers and the use of hand strimmer’s.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive friendly demeanour.
• Approachable, and can remain calm under pressure.
• Observant and pro-active.
• Full driving license is required
• Experience driving tractors and/or other licenses are very desirable within this role.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with employees and customers.
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to team objectives.
• Positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.

Chef - Bridlington Links Golf and Leisure Estate

Working in the Dane’s Dyke Restaurant at Bridlington Links Golf and Leisure Estate, you will report to the Head Chef cooking and serving meals to a consistently high standard while maintaining health, safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Temporary Maintenance Team Member - Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club

We are looking for a Temporary Maintenance Worker to join the team at Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club to maintain our park to the highest standard.
Duties to include:
• undertaking of general maintenance and groundwork
• grass cutting
• strimming
• hedge cutting
• the ability to work as part of a team yet use own initiative when required.
You may also be required to carry out general maintenance and repairs on the Park and Facilities.
The ideal candidate should have a practical and hands-on approach. Must have a full clean driving licence and experience using ride-on mowers and strimmers.
Previous experience in a similar role is required
This is a full time temporary position , up to 40 hours over a 5 day week.
