Fell End Nature Reserve
The scenic Fell End Nature Reserve is now open to both our guests and to the general public, complimenting the Arnside and Silverdale are of outstanding natural beauty. The first wildlife spotting Hide, named after John Wilson for his outstanding contribution to conservation is now open for use. Among the protected wildlife spotted at the nature reserve are owls, marsh harrier, birds and deer, all of which have been spotted from the John Wilson Hide. Not only can you spot the beautiful wildlife but you can take a leisurely stroll through the nature reserve.
The John Wilson Hide serves as a tranquil lookout point for guests and includes the following heartfelt message: “Please make time in your busy lives to look at wildlife, in my experience you will find it enthralling and inspiring, and breathtakingly beautiful.”
