We’ve selected a few to help you slip back into normality.

The Great British Food Festival combines the nation’s love of great food and drink with some of the country’s most treasured locations, allowing you to explore new flavours and beautiful venues.
Lowther Castle will make its debut this year taking some of the finest local and regional producers. There will be hot food, real ale and wine bars, craft and gift stalls and children’s entertainment. Top chefs will demo skills and there will be cake competitions all accompanied by excellent live music. It’s a great day out for the foody families.

The Winter Droving – Penrith
26 October 2021
Perhaps the most important event in the region is The Winter Droving which toasts change in seasons our rural heritage. It’s a completely out-of-the-ordinary town takeover by Eden Arts.
Each year, Penrith is transformed for one magical day into a spectacular wonderland of outdoor arts, music, mayhem, fire and masquerade with an always-impressive line-up of performance on stages and streets across the town.
While the details of the 2021’s Winter Droving are secret, it is really one of the best Festivals in Penrith.
