  1. Lost in Cumbria – 1st April 2022
    Lost in Cumbria by local artist and activist, Maddy Humberstone, is a mixed media installation exploring the plight of Cumbria’s endangered and extinct species.

  2. Bounce Fest – 7th, 8th & 9th April 2022
    Bounce Fest, the indoor inflatable play zone is in Kirkby Lonsdale for 3 days. This is a fun-filled event, giving children the chance to play on up to 18 different inflatables! Each session is 90 minutes which will give plenty of time for your children to bounce, slide, crawl, tunnel, dive and drive their way around all the inflatables on offer. There is a separate toddler area for children aged 3 and under.

  3. Keswick Market – 9th April 2022
    The market stretches from the top of the Market Square, above the Moot Hall, all the way down to below Bryson’s bakery, towards the corner of Bank Street. The whole area is pedestrianised. Some 60 traders set up their stalls with food, spirits, clothes, shoes, tools, artworks, crafts and gifts, much of it locally produced. Food stalls include fresh fish, locally produced meat, fresh vegetables, artisan bread and bakery products and a wide range of preserves and condiments. There is also artisan hot food to take away, either to eat immediately or to take home for dinner.

  4. Charlies Chocolate Extravaganza – 16th April 2022

  5. Lancarnaval – 23rd April 2022
    This year, on the 23rd of April, the Brazilian community and associates are organizing  another carnival party in Lancaster: the Lancarnaval. As the Carnival in Brazil is for everyone and  every age, the Lancarnaval are hoping to create the same atmosphere in Lancaster, gathering families  with face painting, costume making, capoeira demonstrations, an Afro-Brazilian dance workshop, the carnival drumming band Batala and delicious Brazilian street food. Throughout the afternoon there will  be DJ’s playing many Brazilian rhythms with an international twist. The party continues until 2am with a second live performance from Batala and an energising Afro-Latin Zumba session to kick start the evening.
