Fishing For The Dream Holiday

29 November 2013

For many people fishing is so much more than just a hobby. Not only is it considered a competitive sport but people also find it a spiritual pastime that helps them to relax and unwind.

The twitch of a fishing rod and the prospect of a catch is more thrilling for a fisherman than any sunshine getaway abroad.

Keen fishermen scour the country for idyllic spots with fully stocked lakes, so much so that fishing holidays have become increasingly popular as people seek a short and relaxing getaway.

Billing Aquadrome

Billing Aquadrome is an absolute angler’s paradise. Passionate coarse fishermen can come and holiday with us and fish in peace at our three lakes and further waterways.

The Willow Lake, Kingfisher Lake and our popular marina are generously stocked with a variety of fish including Roach, Trench, Ghost Carp and Rudd, and maintained by our very own on-site specialists.

After enjoying a day, or night, out on the lakes holidaymakers can simply pack up and return to a warm caravan or lodge for rest and to reminisce about their catch of the day.

We even have a variety of lakeside properties available so people can go from bed to bankside within minutes or even spend a leisurely day fishing from the porch.

Our Fishing Lakes

The use of our fishing lakes cost individuals £25 per week per person. Children under 10-years-old will be able to fish for free. We also welcome day trippers to any of our lakes for £5 per day.

Billing Aquadrome is also a hot spot for night fishing and a 24-hour permit costs £15 per person.

If you fancy visiting us on a regular basis throughout the year you can purchase an annual fishing pass for £138 per person.

Our on-site tackle shop, located at the main entrance to the park, is open seven days a week and stocks a variety of tackle and bait. Our friendly staff are always on hand to offer advice, hints and tips about Billing fisheries and angling in general.

A variety of fishing competitions and events take place throughout the year for those with a competitive streak. If you are searching for a location to hold angling events and fixtures, please do not hesitate to contact us.
