Live like a local

Try local foods

A trip to Northamptonshire wouldn’t be complete without trying out some of the local foodie favourites! We highly recommend a trip to Aladdin’s Balti if you are a lover of Indian food, La Terraza for tapas, or Super Sausage which was voted as Britain’s best cafe!

And of course, you will also have the opportunity to dine with us if you are staying at one of our Northamptonshire parks if you want to enjoy great food without heading out for it.

Visit local attractions

If you’re looking for a fun day out with the kids, an adventure, or you’re an animal lover, you’ll love the attractions in Northamptonshire, as the area has plenty to offer.

If you are staying with us in Northamptonshire, do enquire about our holiday passports. As discounts are available at some of the venues mentioned!

Trapp’d

Work together to escape one of the locked rooms at Trapp’d! There are several different themes available. And whichever room you choose you will have to solve tricky puzzles, solve cryptic clues, and make it out of there within 60 minutes!

Fantastic for team building, whether that be as a family or with friends.

Hullabaloo Play and Party Centre

A brilliant day out for the kids, at Hullaballoo they have a huge play frame area with plenty of activities including slides.

There is an under 3’s area, and they serve kids meals so you can refuel your little ones once they’ve let off some steam. Oh and there’s also free wi-fi, which is great for adults!

Laser Zone

Next door to Hullabaloo is something that will excite older children and adults! In this fun game, you must take out your opponents and avoid being taken down yourself.

Compete against each other whether it be in teams or a free for all, to get the highest score and be declared the winner!

You can also hang out in the Loading Bay, where there are video games, games of pool, and air hockey to be enjoyed.

Riverside Hub

Pay a visit to the biggest soft-play frame in the UK, where there is a whole lot of fun to be had. Bring the whole family, as there is so much to see and do!

They have go karting, which is suitable for children of all ages (mum or dad can hop in too to help drive if needed). As well as indoor football, basketball, and a climbing tree with different stages of difficulty. Plus a unique toddler village where your little ones can use their imaginations in a safe environment away from the bigger kids.

Babies have their own little zone which has been tailored to keeping them safe. With a padded floor, ball pool, and much more.

Boost Trampoline Park

Jump for joy at this awesome 30,000 square foot indoor trampoline park! Bounce to your heart’s content on the 50 interconnected trampolines, enjoy an extreme game of dodgeball, shoot hoops, or even battle it out on the Battle Beam!

There is also a toddler area, so you can bring the little ones along too. On the first Wednesday of every month they also hold Sensory Sessions for those family members with special needs. So be sure to check out the website for more details.

Catanger Llamas

In the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside is Catanger Llamas. Established in 1995, they breed llamas, and you can book a llama trek, or if you’re lucky enough to be in the area in the summer time you can even visit the baby llamas! This is a great day out for animal lovers.

Icarus Falconry

If you’re a fan of feathered friends, head to Icarus Falconry for a fantastic bird of prey experience.

They have a wide collection of Hawks, Owls, and of course Falcons. And they run a variety of exciting hands-on experiences, as well as photography workshops.

Drayton Manor

Get up early and hop in the car if you’re an adrenaline junkie. And you can enjoy a thrilling day out at Drayton Manor theme park!

With plenty of rides, attractions, and even a zoo there’s sure to be something for everyone.

These are just some of the great experiences in the area if you visit us in Northamptonshire, so be sure to keep an eye on our blog for more holiday tips and advice.
