Information for Holiday Home owners.

Following the Prime Minister’s address on Sunday evening regarding the road map to ease lockdown restrictions imposed during the Coronavirus pandemic Holiday Home owners are asking questions regarding use of their holiday homes.

One question in particular has come to the forefront… “I can now drive further to destinations so can I come to the Holiday Park to use or visit my Holiday Home?”

Regretfully the answer to that question is no as Holiday Park’s remain closed on instruction of the Government until 4th July at the earliest. Therefore owners cannot come to the park to check on their Holiday Homes or carry out maintenance on their Holiday Homes as long as the Holiday Parks remain closed, all visitors will be turned away upon arrival.

Please see the following extract from the Government document:

4.1 Step One – from Wednesday 13th May (in England)

People may drive to outdoor open spaces irrespective of distance, so long as they respect social distancing guidance while they are there, because this does not involve contact with people outside your household.

4.3 Step 3 – no earlier than 4th July

The ambition at this step is to open at least some of the remaining businesses and premises that have been required to close, including personal care (such as hairdressers and beauty salons) hospitality (such as food service providers, pubs and accommodation), public places (such as places of worship) and leisure facilities (like cinemas).

Rest assured that as soon as the Government state that it is safe to re-open Holiday Parks we will be in a position to welcome you back. Since 23rd March we have had key staff in place who have continued with the upkeep of all Pure Leisure Holiday Parks so that everything with be ready to go.
