Coronavirus update Monday 23rd March

These are unprecedented times in which we all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but society as a whole, with that in mind at Pure Leisure Group we are having to make some difficult decisions/ take actions which were unimaginable a few weeks and days ago.

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that we have closed all facilities on our parks with immediate effect.

We are communicating with all holiday home hire, touring and glamping bookings arriving before 1st June 2020 with an offer to transfer their booking to later on in the season. No arrivals will be accepted after today, Monday 23rd March. We are prioritising imminent arrivals, if you have a holiday booked with us between now and the 1st of June we politely ask that you wait for us to contact you. The phone lines are extremely busy and we will try our best to contact you as soon as possible. If you have a holiday booking please wait to be contacted by our team as our phone lines are currently extremely busy.

We are also asking all private holiday home owners to heed the government’s advice on non-essential travel. As a company we are following Government guidance to protect people from the potential spread of Coronavirus. It has been a very hard decision for us to make however, the health of our holidaymakers and owners is our number one priority at this time and therefore it is our responsibility to help restrict unnecessary travel.

We look forward to welcoming you back to park again later in the year and hope you stay safe during this difficult time. If you require any additional information or guidance please contact your park direct or email us at info@pureleisuregroup.com.

South Lakeland Leisure Village

South Lakeland Leisure Village is open as usual welcoming Owners, Holiday Guests, Gym Members and Diners. Government statements regarding Coronavirus are reviewed daily to ensure the best advice is provided.
Planned functions will take place including the Easter BBQ on Saturday 11th April , Easter Egg Hunt & Outdoor Activities on Sunday 12th April and the Cupcake Charity Morning Monday 13th April. Mother’s Day Lunch on 22nd March will go ahead as planned.

We understand that some people, especially in high risk categories, may choose not to attend which is quite understandable under the current circumstances but our door is always open.

Waters Edge Bar & Restaurant is open as usual, plus we have a new takeaway menu with deliveries straight to your lodge.

A number of members have expressed concern about attending fitness classes at the gym because of the confined studio space available and many have already cancelled attendance. Our number one priority is the well-being of members and staff and with that in mind all classes have ceased with effect from 17th March for a period of 14 days, at which time we will review all advice available. The main Gym exercise areas and the Pool will remain open. For the safety of our staff and fellow customers we would kindly ask for you to not attend the facility if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had symptoms.

We thank our fantastic loyal customers in advance for their continued support during this surreal period.
